Earrings!

I am in love with these earrings. I have been so busy working on these, I love them. If you are interested in buying them check them out at Chic Style in Eden or South Ogden and Covet in Roy. They both have a great selection right now! Lots of colors and shapes and sizes! I am having a professional photographer do a bunch of pics in March but for now here is my handy work. I am the worst blogger!

I don't know how people keep up with it! I am going to try and do better but I always say that and usually fail but we'll see this time! New products on their way..stay tuned!

They're back!

My flowers are back on Groopdealz.com! They will be on Monday October 31st and Tuesday November 1st. There are 15 colors-6 are new. The colors are gray, white, cream, tan, red, rust orange, gold, avocado green, turquoise, purple, confetti pink, yellow, sangria dark pink, brown, and navy blue.
Remember there a million ways to use these flowers so don't be shy. I read on a fashion blog the other day that it's all about the accessories this season, what better accessory than a flower pin in just about every color!

Well a huge thanks to all of those people who supported me on Groopdealz! That was awesome. I am waiting on Fed Ex to get here with my envelopes (sometime today) and then the shipping will begin! They should all be delivered by the beginning of next week. Once again, thanks so much to all of you! I am going to load up my Etsy shop with tons of sales and if you live in the Northern Utah area and want to buy some flowers at a killer price then come to the Kottage Kupboard Boutique. Groop Dealz Here I Come!

My flowers are going on Groopdealz.com this week. They will start on Friday morning and end when/if the limit is reached! I am so excited for this. I have worked so hard to get these all made so that when Friday comes I can just start shipping them. I have 9 different colors for sale...cream, gray, bright yellow, antique gold, red, tile blue turquoise, confetti pink (my favorite),sangria dark pink, and last but not least camel tan. I love that flowers and ruffles are still so hot right now. I got my new Downeast catalog in the mail the other day and there were flowers all over it, so with this deal on flowers be ready to stock up!

New colors!

I have spent the last 5 days down in St. George, Utah. It's so beautiful down there. We didn't get the best weather but it was lots beter than what was going on here-SNOW in mid April. Anyways on the way down there I stopped at a fabric store and found lots of new colors and stocked up on my oldies but goodies colors. Then in St. George I went to another store and got lots more so needless to say I am going to be making tons of flowers! I am going to be running a few specials for the Kottage Kupboard Boutique that's coming up in May and also having some killer specials at Quilted Bear for Mothers Day.

It's been a while

Actually it's been a long while since I posted. I have had a serious case of the wintertime blues. I sometimes wonder why I live in Utah but then Spring comes around and I get over it! I am loving watching my lillies start to come out of the ground and this past weekend we went to a nursery and bought peas to plant in the garden this weekend! Yeah! My kids are so excited. I love working in our garden. Last year we sooo overplanted and had squash, tomatoes, peppers and pumpkins coming out our ears but we loved it and wasted hardly anything. We have cases of salsa in our pantry, I think I did 3 batches. Okay enough of that and back to Spring...I was worried that the ruffles and flowers were going to be out of style this year but they are bigger than they were last year. Everywhere I go that's what is in and I love it! They are so feminine and pretty. My booth at Quilted Bear is stocked full of flowers and starting tomorrow it will be full of headbands also. I can't seem to keep those in stock but the last few days I made over 100 so I am heading down there in the morning. Remember if you ever need a custom flower or headband I would be happy to do it. I have had a few orders that I really enjoyed making. The first one was flowers for a lampshade. It turned out so cute and now I want to make one for myself. The second one was for a girls prom dress, I felt a little pressure with that one but she loved them and said she would send me a picture. I made some little flowers for my neice's baptism dress and am really excited to see them on her dress. It's amazing what a little embellishment can do for an outfit. My friend wants me to make her some small flowers to clip on her flats. She said she has tons of plain flats and wants to jazz them up. I am going to be working on that today for her. That's the thing I love about these flowers, they are so versatile. You can pin them on sweaters, t-shirts, scarves, belts, shoes and more. You can clip them on a headband for girls and women and babies. You can also use them in home decor, I had never thought about that one until I got the custom order, then I started thinking of a million projects you could do. A new location

Starting on January 15th my flowers will now be available at the Quilted Bear in Ogden. There will be tons of the same and TONS of new colors. I have shopped every fabric store from Logan to Salt Lake picking out new textures and colors. So if you happen to be in the area go check it out. I will also be selling seasonal blocks for your house so check those out too!

Time Flies

Wow I can't believe it's the first day of December. The last month pretty much flew by. Boutique time is so super stressful so the last week or 2 I have been taking it easy (well from crafts) and putting my house back in some kind of order. My craft room was flooded in late September courtesy of my 6 year old and the pine view hose, all my stuff had to be stored in my family room-it was CHAOS! Anyways I just barely got the carpet laid back down 2 days ago! How terrible is that it only took me a little over 2 months? I started putting all my stuff back in there yesterday but then decided I wanted to head to Rod Works instead, hee hee. It was well worth it. I found some new picture frames and cute ideas for the main wall in my house that really needed some sprucing up! So guess what I get to do today? Finish the basement, which works perfect since it snowed last night and I don't drive on snowy roads so I am forced to stay home. Anyways if you are in need of flowers, headbands or the few scarves I have left for Christmas gifts just send me an email and I will get back to you asap! These are the scarves I have left

The boutique in Bountiful went well-THANKS to all who came. I sold lots of scarves and had lots of requests for more so I ordered 30 new ones tonight. They should be here on Wednesday. I am going to take most of them out to the Kottage Kupboard Boutique but I will save some for the people who wanted them but can't make it to my next show. I'm back

Actually I have been back from my little getaway for almost a week. It was amazing. I had so much fun. It was nice to spend a little time one on one with my hubby. He is such an awesome guy. He spent some time at a trade show so I went shopping. Let me just tell you how incredible the shopping is in Dallas. I spent way too much money! There are so many malls in that area and cute little boutiques. There was one in particular called Zeus. They had the cutest clothes. I bought a super cute scarf from there. While shopping I noticed that scarves are really popular right now, they were everywhere. I have been wearing them with a flower pinned on it. I think it looks super cute. Anyways I came home and went right back to work making flowers. I was going to try and get my Etsy shop up and running this week but there is no way. I have been filling flower orders and trying to build up an inventory for the next 3 boutiques I have coming up. If you have any questions or want to order something just email me at

A little getaway

So after 3 boutiques in a 1 week period, tons of preparation and 800+flowers later I am going away for a few days. I have never felt so overloaded in my life. My husband is going on a business trip and I am tagging along. I plan on visiting the Hotel Spa while he is at a trade show and then spending some time at any mall or shopping plaza I can find! I am so excited! My kids will be in good hands with my mom, I feel really bad letting her spend a few days at my house because you should see what a month or two of crafting can do to your house (yikes!). Although who better to understand than my mom herself. She has been a crafter her whole life. When I return it will be back to making flowers. I ordered tons of new fabric and am really going to get a good inventory built up and try lots of new color combos-if you have any ideas leave me a comment! For now, I'm off to Dallas!
